Anne Compton:

 

Lives in Birmingham AL-  Paul Compton, Brandley, Arrant, Boult

 

Daughter of Paul Compton our General Counsel

 

Plans to attend University of Georgia in Athens, Ga majoring in Journalism. Anne attended Mountain Brook High School and graduated with 3.8 GPA and an Advanced Diploma. In High School she was a representative of Student Government, Interact Club, Alabama Girls State Representative.  Anne attends Brookwood Baptist Church going on different mission trips and helping with VBS

 

Tyler Wright Clark:

 

Lives in Bessemer AL-  Lloyd Wright, Credex

 

Grandson of Lloyd Wright of Credex

 

Plans to attend UAH in Huntsville majoring in Mechanical Engineering.  Tyler attended Hope Christian Academy in Helena, Al, and graduated with a 3.78 GPA and was Valedictorian of his class. In high school Tyler was very active in the Boy Scouts attaining Eagle Scout Rank in 2015.  He was active in several OMPC Sweat Week from 2011-2015 putting in many service hours in various service activities, the Salvation Army Food Drive 2011-2014, and the Eagle Scout Project.

 

Samuel Reaps:

 

Lives in Simpsonville SC -  Jane Reeps, Southern Management

 

Associated with Jane Reeps of Southern Management Corp.

 

Plans to attend Clemson University in Clemson S.C. majoring in engineering. Sam attended Mauldin High School in Mauldin, S.C. graduating with a 4.254 GPA. While in High School Sam volunteered at the Soup Kitchen 2015-2016, Generous Gardens working in garden for the homeless, the Salvation Army, and the Miracle League while working part time. He was a member of the Beta Club and the National Honor Society.

 

Jack Spriggs:

 

Lives in Prairieville LA-  Michael Spriggs, Harrison Finance

 

Associated with Michael Spriggs of Harrison Finance.

 

Plans to attend Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.  majoring in Business Management. Jack attended Dutchtown High School in Geismar, La. Graduating with a 3.65 GPA.  In High School Jack was in NJROTC and was Cadet commanding officer, National Honor Society, received Varsity letter in Track and Field and Cross Country, attended St. Andrews United Methodist Church where he held positions of President and Vice President of the Youth Group.

 

Avery Hatmaker:

 

Lives in Harrogate TN-  Amy Disney, Brundage Management

 

Daughter of Amy Disney of Brundage Management.

 

Plans to attend Walters State in Morristown, TN. Majoring in Dental Hygeine.  Avery attended Cumberland Gap High School in Cumberland Gap, Tn. Graduating with a 3.68 GPA. Avery was active in her church through various activities and worked the White Lightening Festival in her community while holding down a full time job.

Lives in Decatur, AL-  Don Gowen

 

Grandson of Don Gowen, Gowen Consulting,  lifetime member of ACFA and former Executive Director.

 

Plans to attend Calhoun Community College and then Athens State University majoring in Robotics.  Mitchell attended Decatur Heritage Christian Academy in Decatur, Al. graduating with a 2.18 GPA while battling dyslexia.  While not acing his classes he was able to comprehend the material and broadened his knowledge base.  In the summer of 2015 instead of summer vacation or a work schedule, he attended a 5 day a week specialized comprehension class in Huntsville, Al. which lasted 6 weeks to help him with his studies and comprehension.  Since 2010 Mitchell was a member of the Alabama Student Angler Bass Fishing Association and captain of the Decatur Heritage Fishing Eagles.

 

He was the State Championship Angler in the FLW-TBF Student Angler Federation Tournament of 2014

 

Kaylen Mitchell:

 

Lives in Semmes, AL-  Chris Mitchell, Acceptance Loan Co.

 

Daughter of Chris Mitchell of Acceptance Loan Company.

 

Plans to attend Auburn University in Auburn, Al. majoring in Computer Science Eng. Kaylen attended Mary G. Montgomery High School in Semmes, Al. graduating with a 4.27 GPA. In high school she was City Ambassador in the Mobile Azalea Trail, member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society, and Sink or Swim Leader.  She also taught dance at CC Dance Studio.
