ACFA is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Helen Brothers / Beth Harris Memorial Scholarship:
Hannah Brooke Aman, graduated from Carroll High School, Ozark, Alabama with a GPA of 3.89 and she has been accepted by the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. Hannah plans on majoring in Elementary Education. Hannah volunteered for many community activities while in high school, volunteering for the Ozark Baptist Fall Festival, working in her church library, the Misses Club, Operation Christmas Child, helped pass out blankets and food to the less fortunate in her community and helped raise money for the local women’s shelter. While in high school Hannah excelled in advanced classes and is a member of the national Honor Society in her high school
Hannah Faye Hicks graduated from Mumford High School, Munford, Alabama with a GPA of 3.7 and she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and has been accepted at The Paul Mitchell School, Birmingham, Alabama. Hannah plans on majoring in Cosmetology. She volunteered for Word Alive, and participated in SGA, FBLA and was a Senior Beta member. We received several letters from her teachers testifying to her hard work, and dedication.
Kelli Ann Giles, graduated from Autauga Academy, Prattville, Alabamaand has been accepted by Troy University, Troy, Alabama. She will be majoring in Special Needs Education. Kelly graduated with an Advanced Diploma with Honors. Kelli volunteered as a Small Group Youth Leader at Coosada Baptist Church, and at MissionFuge Camp. She was also cheerleader and Varsity Basketball player and class Secretary and Class Treasurer.
Lindsey Davis, graduated from Robertsdale High School, Robertsdale, Alabama with a 3.7 GPA. She has been accepted at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana where her major will be Psychology. She volunteered for many community activities while in high school, Heart Walk, March of Dimes, a youth soccer coach and was an After School Math Tutor. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society and served as President of the Future Business Leaders of America.
Hayle Grace Neal, graduated from Good Hope High School, Cullman, Alabama with a GPA of 2.95 and she has been accepted by Wallace State Community College, Hanceville, AL. Hayle participated in many community activities while in high school, volunteering for Christmas Love, Hope Lodge, Relay for Life, Special Olympics and Cullman Caring for Kids. While in high school Hayle excelled in advanced courses and graduated with honors and we received several letters from her teachers testifying to her hard work and dedication.
